![]() I am pleased to provide assistance on behalf of HP. The 3x5 inch size might be just 'under' the minimum indicated in the Datasheet - or it might be OK. I cannot definitively answer that question. I used to tell the kids, "Everyone, listen: This is your warning."Ĭlick the Kudos Thumbs-Up to say Thank You!Īnd.Click Accept as Solution when my Answer provides a Fix or Workaround! IF that is the case.and the printer does indeed print on Media type card, then: The issue remaining is whether you can print on card size 3x5 inches. You don't need to be using Avery labels, but you do need to select those label sizes since they tell the printer to print on a 3-by-5-inch size. These labels are 3 inches by 5 inches, so selecting this size will configure the printer to print onto your paper or index card. I have not figured out how to make the printer smart enough to stop printing if we are not willing to change the ink when the printer warns us it is time. Or choose ' Avery 5388' for three cards of that size. Under Show Alerts > Click/ Select Only show me ink alerts when I print Start the Printer Assistant shortcut (probably named Photosmart 7250 or some such thing) >Ĭlick on the Ink icon (the one that looks like colorful Ink cartridges) > You can stop the printer from warning you about the ink - at least keep it from bugging you all the time - by adjusting the setting. I have actually never used the Photo Tray for the 5X7 photos - always just hauled the large paper out of the lower tray and put the 5X7 paper in that big tray.
